When I was a kid they had these toys called Colorforms which were backdrops with stickers of characters that you place into the scene in various ways to tell a story. I made this wiki as a kind of digital Colorform to storyboard the comic books but I've been breaking down thousands of scans on a panel by panel basis for years now and really underestimated how much work was involved. It's way too much work for one person. I also wanted to add sound and animation capabilities but the website never developed along those lines. My dream video game would've been something like "X-Men Danger Room" where the campaign of the game engine would have taught the user how to design their own custom battle scenarios and people could adapt the printed stories or make up their own using the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, DC characters or whoever. Years ago when "Neverwinter Nights" came out I believed the video game industry was shifting towards more user created content but it has since shifted away and I've pretty much given up hope on my dream.
